Emerging Technolegy, Part 1

The article I read was about the 3D Transistors that are credited to Intel and also Bill Gates. The new transistors have vertical current-carrying channels. These help for the 3D portion of the Transistor. In the reading it also said that Intel is going to start mass-producing the chips that help program the Transistors, it also said that the production rate is supposed to double roughly in the next 2 years. This chip expected to significantly increase the production rate and speed of the transistor itself. The on and off part of the chip is proven to be more industrial safe and green efficient. Meaning it won't waste any energy when not being used or turned on. This switch is also said to be a lot more smooth and save to turn on than ever before. To me, I believe this will soon be affordable and I was not surprised because of the great and astounding accomplishes we have made lately in technology. I think this will be just a branch to the future of the amazing technology yet to come. The thing that surprised me the most was the 3D portion. Possibilities for the area of 3D include what we learned about yesterday with the 3D printer and how amazing it and the cost is. Something from 2009 that has been brought to a present and normal technology right now in 2013 is the Intelligent Software Assistance. This includes the most known Software Assistance called Siri on the iPhone 4s and 5. This is a good example of a Emerged Technology.

Teddy Roosevelt Article 3

Article 3: In December 1913, Roosevelt, then 55, and a small group of men embarked on a journey to explore and map Brazil's River of Doubt. From the start, the expedition took a turn for the worse. Just three month’s into the expedition, Roosevelt was relying on his LAST tent listening to the roaring river. His body sick and exhausted, Roosevelt realized this experience would soon take his life. In just a few days, Roosevelt had developed a serious case of malaria, at many times, Roosevelt became delirious. Roosevelt had also developed a potentially deadly bacterial infection after slicing his leg on a boulder. At the same time his leg began to swell and become severely red. His temperature soured up to a 105 degree F. His life would not look pretty after all this, they luckily survived and got to the end of the river on April 27th, 1914.

Feed Readers

Google reader was much more different compared to the technorati reader/webpaged. I liked the Google reader web page for many reasons! For one, it was more organized and easier to look up html sites and find things. Google is also more known than Technorati, Google's version for reader is alot better than technorati!
